The Perfume Pagoda is well known not only for its natural beauty but also for the sacred belief of the Buddhism of Vietnamese peoples. The Perfume Pagoda is a complex of Buddhist temples and shrines built into the limestone mountains. After the Vietnamese New Year, thousands of pilgrims from all over the country travel to the Perfume Pagoda. The pilgrims come to the annual religious festival which begins on the 6th day of the first lunar month and continues until the last week of the third lunar month. People come to pray for the health, the happiness and the prosperity during the year that begins.
Around 8h00, our guide pick you up at your hotel. Take 2 hour drive to Perfume pagoda, 70 km from Hanoi.
Upon arrival, you embark aboard a row-boat for a boat cruise on the Yen Vy River (3 km), which winds rice paddies, mountains, caves. The landscape is picturesque and quiet.
Landing at the foot of the mountain, near the Thien Tru pagoda. Then you walk up through stone steps to the cave - pagoda of Huong Tich (for those who do not want to walk, you can reach the pagoda by cable car).
On our way back we stop near the Thien Tru pagoda where you will have lunch in a little food stalls.
In the afternoon visit the Thien Tru Pagoda before cruise back to the pier.
Return to Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi at 5 pm, drop off at your hotel.
